Instructions regarding catechism and baptism
I insist on this. I want you to follow this rule. Indeed, I order you to follow it. So, baptism for those who have the necessary dispositions and who arouse no concerns, and the catechumenate for the others. The main reason why I insist on these measures is the fear of apostasies after baptisms which are granted too easily.
